Never had deviled crabs before and this place set me up good, we also got stuffed potatoes which were awesome too. Also they have really good sherbet!

Eating some of dishes I got to actually #eat was #beautiful. Today, I found out they actually make #vegetarian patties filled with so much delicious #goodness a lot truly. I placed an online order to surprise my husband. My order was delivered on time and very well packed. The devil crab is probably the best I've ever had. The blend of ingredients and spices are perfect. The empanadas are from heaven. Crisp, tasty full of flavor! The stuffed potatoes are amazing. Fluffy potatoes surrounding a tasty filling of nicely spiced meat. The pikliz, we'd never had before. Can I have more food from heaven? A wonderful blend of cooling picked ingredients blended with just the right amount of peppers. Thank you Franz DeRose!! You are the best. Pappy's Devil Crab is amazing. 5 stars is limiting. Wowzer what a great local find in Tampa! This place isn't fancy but it is super yummy homemade food with tons of flavor and that's all I care about. Came here for the local Devil Crab and it did not disappoint, while here grabbed a curry chicken dish with rice and beans and plantains and a stuffed potato and loved it all! So yeah, there is indoor seating, however, they serve everything in to go containers but honestly that just adds to the charm. Everyone was super friendly and I can't wait to go back and try more of their yummy, flavorful food! You guys Rock!
This is the second time we came looking for this place. The name Pappy's is not visible from the street and last time, a couple of years ago, we missed it. I am so happy we found it! The food is delicious. These are by far the best devil crabs around and great empanadas. Will come again.
Best Devil crab in town! The collard greens were authentic home made and amazing! Everything about this place is on point. I highly reccomend!!
